Steve + Ranya’s Northern Virginia Engagement Session
It was a perfectly sunny Saturday morning for Steve and Ranya’s Alexandria VA engagement photos. As a photographer who had previously captured Ranya’s brother’s wedding, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see Ranya again and meet the love of her life, Steve. We met at the corner Starbucks, grabbed an iced coffee, and set off to capture their classic, iconic engagement photos around Alexandria. Steve being a military man and true gentleman brought the most joyous and sweet smile to Ranya’s face throughout our time together. This couple beams radiant and natural joy and I am so excited to share their session on the blog today!

Steve and Ranya chose this iconic, Northern Virginia town for their engagement session, because of its sweet significance to their relationship. It’s a place where their love began and has continued to grow. Their session features charming cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and waterfront views. One of my favorite things about this town is the variety of spots we are able to capture within a few blocks’ radius. The session was relaxed and enjoyable as we walked around and enjoyed the many views!
