Philadelphia Art Museum Engagement Photos

Lisa and Andrew’s Philadelphia, PA engagement session was my first destination engagement session of the year! I had so much traveling up to Philadelphia for their photos and exploring the city with them!

We met for part one of their session at noon at the Ritz Theatre. Lisa and Andrew love going to the movies and had a clear vision for their session. It was so fun to capture them, in their element, in this vintage theatre in the city! It was a blazing hot summer day, so we were thankful to have planned part two just before sunset. We met on the steps of the iconic Philadelphia art museum.

Andrew & Lisa’s Love Story

How They Met
from Lisa’s perspective

We met using the Tinder dating app! We both swiped right on each other. 🙂 After chatting over the app for a few days Andrew asked me out for drinks!

How He Proposed
from Lisa’s perspective

We were spending Christmas Eve night at my sister’s house and Christmas at my parent’s house. Andrew insisted on opening one “small” gift together on Christmas Eve morning so we would have some together time. His gift to me was a Shutterfly photobook. Chronologically, the book went through each year we had been together (3 years). We laughed as we remembered dates/trips/funny stories. The last page of the book was a picture of the ring with the words, “Will you marry me?”. I started crying and turned to see him on one knee holding the ring!
