She’s here! It’s been ten days since we welcomed our sweet Photini Mouna into the world! She arrived on Friday, October 28th on the feast of the Holy Protection of the Theotokos. There are no words to describe the joy that has been added to our little family with her arrival! Thanks and glory to God for all things!

Is it possible to leave a newborn session without baby fever? (The answer: No!)

This lifestyle newborn session took place at their home in Northern Virginia when baby girl was seven whole days new! Her mom and dad were calm, joyful, and their home – peaceful. One of the greatest gifts of my job is being with families during their most joyful moments such as these; when they are bursting with the love and joy of new life! This beautiful couple…I’m so thankful I was able to take these maternity portraits for them before their baby girl arrived. We met in Washington DC on a very, very chilly Spring morning. I was in a winter coat behind this camera…

After much research and taking Covid restrictions into consideration, I realize that realistically, I am only able to offer ONE day of Cherry Blossom Mini’s. Given the popularity of these sessions and the circumstances of our time, I have decided to offer an additional option of private bloom sessions in hopes of capturing both the plethora of pink magnolias that bloom prior to the cherry blossoms, as well as the cherry blossom themselves!
