Newborn Session with this Sweet Family of Five
Anne and Zach’s wedding was the very first wedding I photographed when I moved to NY in 2017. When my husband’s job moved us a second time to the DMV area in 2020, I received the most exciting email that Anne and Zach also live in the area and wanted to have their family photos taken. Their family photo session has become an annual event that I thoroughly look forward to. Being able to capture their story from the very beginning and as they have continued to grow is precisely what I love about my job. These Leesburg VA studio newborn photos included their newest addition and I am so excited to feature their first photos as a family of five on the blog today!
Leesburg VA Studio Newborn Photos
We planned Anne and Zach’s Leesburg VA studio newborn photos at the AWL Creative co-working and studios. The studio space is nestled within the historic, downtown area of Leesburg. I always love shooting here for both its convenient location and the overall, enjoyable experience of the space and area. The studios themselves are beautiful and clean, and offer comfortable areas for families with littles. I also love that the studios are located right on the main street, surrounded by food, shopping, coffee, and so much more! In studio photo sessions can double as a fun day out with the whole family!
For their newborn session we booked the studio space, brought props, snacks, and Thomas the Train, and the rest came together. FAQ: When is the best time to take Maternity and Newborn Photos?
If you are also expecting, congratulations! I often get asked when is the best time to take newborn photos and I want to answer that for you right here! Maternity sessions are typically done between 28 and 32 weeks. Newborn sessions are scheduled between 2 and 6 weeks of your successful delivery date.
If you are thinking of booking a maternity newborn session, inquire here and include your due date. I serve families during a time that can be very fluid; as well all know, babies make their own schedules more times than not 🙂 That being said, I can only take on a limited number of clients per month to ensure exemplary service and availability.
