Fluffy, pink blooms and buttery bokeh – I have been dreaming about these Cherry Blossom Sessions since the last time I was able to offer them, which was in 2019 in Central Park! I never would have dreamed that I’d have the opportunity to offer these special sessions in the Washington DC area, but I am here for it and excited and booking now!

After much research and taking Covid restrictions into consideration, I realize that realistically, I am only able to offer ONE day of Cherry Blossom Mini’s. Given the popularity of these sessions and the circumstances of our time, I have decided to offer the additional option of private bloom sessions in hopes of capturing either the breathtaking pink magnolias that bloom prior to the cherry blossoms, and/or the cherry blossom themselves! How to Book:

• The booking process is simple! You can reserve your session with me by filling out this form and I’ll be in touch with you shortly to confirm your session date and time.
• Note: A 50% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract is required at booking for all mini sessions.

Before moving forward, please note the following:

• The NPS is predicting peak bloom for April 2nd – April 5th. Please keep in mind that we are planning according to their expert prediction, however, this is still only a prediction. Therefore, planning these sessions requires a bit of flexibility. I will be in constant communication with you and as the session date draws near, we will reassess the plan if need be in order to ensure the most idyllic portraits of your family!
• It is unclear whether or not the tidal basin will be open due to Covid restrictions and crowd control. I have a list of additional location options for both pink magnolia blooms and cherry blossoms. Please inquire for this list or to request a specific location.
