Adrianna came to me with a clear vision for her Leesburg VA maternity session: modern and chic with an editorial flair. By incorporating a healthy mix of black and white edits, everything about this session spoke to that elegant and sophisticated aesthetic. It happened to be the coldest January day, so we shot the majority of their session at the AWL Creative studio. Michael and Adrianna braved the frigid wind chill and snow for some outdoor shots in the picturesque downtown Leesburg. Everything turned out so beautifully and I am excited to share more on the blog today! Scroll down for more of their session or to learn more about planning your maternity session!
Every photographer will have a slightly different answer here. In my experience, I have found a good range or answer to the question of “when to take maternity photos” is anywhere between 28 and 33 weeks. This is typically the best time to both show off your bump and take photos while you are still feeling great. However, it is never “too late” until you are in labor!
If you are expecting twins, or if you are looking for more information to plan your maternity session, I have a whole blog post for you right here! 🙂
