I still can’t believe that I live a short drive from the Shenandoah National Park Virginia and these gorgeous mountain views! This Shenandoah Mountains Virginia Elopement was a first for me and felt like the most exciting adventure upon moving to Virginia! When I arrived at the point where I was supposed to meet Tami for her bridal portraits, I looked at the supposed trail and called her asking, “Are you sure I’m at the right spot?” I followed the trail down through overgrown bushes and hanging trees until I suddenly had the most breathtaking view before me and saw Tami ready to put on her wedding dress!
Tami and Chuck were so easy going and after I read the story of how they met, their favorite dates, and the proposal, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for them! I am so thankful that Tami found me and trusted me to capture her intimate, elopement and micro wedding ceremony, overlooking the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, and wrapped in the arms of her Marine! <3
How They Met
from Tami’s perspective
We met in January 2019 through Match.com. We talked about hiking, camping, and raising boys! He was very hesitant to meet up with me, because he didn’t feel like I was very responsive via DM’s on Match.com. Little did he know that I was praying to meet a man exactly like him and I was being very cautious. We went on a lunch date a couple days later!
How He Proposed
from Tami’s perspective
We hiked Old Rag Mountain and on the tip top of the mountain he got down on one knee and proposed! It was 6 + miles!
