I’m currently backing up and culling through photos from this weekend’s winter white wedding in Michigan! My little family and I flew to Plymouth, Michigan for a three-day weekend to celebrate my second cousin’s wedding that I had the honor and joy of photographing! It was thee perfect weekend and although we flew back home to Jersey last night, my husband and I are still feeling so filled up! There is nothing better than spending time and celebrating with family – nothing! Thank God for such a beautiful weekend – time is precious. Here are some highlights while I continue to back up their wedding photos 🙂

1.
I’m currently reading – and loving – Fertile Ground. I wish I had read this in preparation for my first little, but am so grateful to be reading it now! I was also gifted the Daily Lives, Miracles, and Wisdom of the Saints & Fasting Calendar 2020 and it has become part of my daily prayer/reading rule. Highly recommend both!
2.
I’ve never had great success with homemade bread. My koumbara and fellow Great British Bake Show fan, has been making her own delicious bread for a while now. She spent a day with Sonia and me this week to do a little bread-making 101. I’m sooo excited to bake and experiment more!
3.
At Melina and James’ rehearsal dinner this past weekend, my hubby and I took a rare selfie 🙂 Not pictured: our 2.5 year old literally running circles around us
4.
Sunday morning after the wedding, we woke up to more glorious snow that made us nostalgic for Boston! We drove to the gorgeous Basilica of St. Mary’s in Livonia and enjoyed Orthros and Divine Liturgy with our family.
5.
Sonia and my 84 year old, Theo Vangeli. He was in absolute heaven playing with Sonia. He doesn’t speak a lot of English, but his smile never left his face!
6.
And they’re married! Congratulations, Melina and James! May God grant you many years of health and happiness!
