It was a late summer day in Potomac, Maryland when Panagiotis and Thania’s family and friends gathered for their special day. Their wedding day was a seamless blend of the rich traditions of a Greek Orthodox ceremony and a modern, elegant reception at the Norbeck Country Club.
A Classic, Greek Orthodox Wedding
Everything about Giotis and Thania’s wedding day felt close to home and intimate. Their Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony was held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. The church, adorned with intricate icons and glowing candles, set a serene and sacred atmosphere. Guests were greeted by the angelic sounds of a harp, creating a beautiful ambiance. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Norbeck Country Club. The country club’s grand ballroom features crystal chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning views. No Greek and Latina wedding would be complete without lively music and dancing. A definitely highlight of the evening was the Kalamatianos, a traditional Greek circle dance that brings everyone together on the dance floor. With the help of an incredible team of vendors, their wedding day turned out beautifully and I am so excited to feature more of their images on the blog today!
