Alexandria VA Family Photos: Chad, Nikol, & their Boys
I cannot get enough of this adorable family with their little man cubs. They arrived in their matching white on kakis, flashed their squishy smiles, and that was it. *I’m a puddle on the floor.* How cute are they? Their whole adorable family was perfectly dressed and ready for a beautiful summer day in the DMV and Nikol couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque location for their Alexandria VA family photos.
There is so much beauty in the neighborhoods of Old Town Alexandria between cobblestone streets, the many quaint old homes, neighborhood parks and gardens. I often photograph at the waterfront, but got to thoroughly enjoy a more calm, local experience just walking through the streets with this little family.
Side note: can we take a second to appreciate the hydrangeas? Something about hydrangeas makes me nostalgic for New England summers. These fluffy, garden beauties make me “stop and smell the roses hydrangeas” every single time. (Scroll down for a few shots featuring these iconic summer blooms!)
I have already seen PSL memes circling around the web since the beginning of August, but I am going to savor another solid month of summer. DMV Family Mini Photo Sessions
Although I am still enjoying the smell of fresh cut grass, eating cold watermelon, and relishing in the summer wedding and portrait season, I am also making plans for fall and holiday family sessions.
