As a visual artist, I specialize in fine art wedding and family photography in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. ✨ We experienced our first Lenten and Paschal season as a clergy family.
✨ We bought our first home.
✨ We renovated that home ourselves.
✨ I officially began booking 2022 weddings and have already done a few site visits for said weddings!
✨ I edited 14 wedding galleries, 8 family, and 6 newborn sessions.
✨ And of course, we MOVED.

It doesn’t sound as ambitious when I write it all down, but phew! It’s been eventful and joyful and…a little challenging at times if I’m being honest. As I write this post and look at my prep list for my upcoming sessions, I’m feeling so thankful and excited for a summer calendar full of weddings, babies, and family gatherings that I have the honor of capturing, God willing.
I’m also thankful that my husband bought a grill and learned how to make homemade ice cream…have I ever mentioned how spoiled I am?😍
