Mid-Summer Update
Hello! I am popping in here with a mid-summer update and a mini Northern Virginia summer wedding blog feature that I couldn’t wait to share!
My husband and I were overseas (Yes, just the two of us!) for the last two and a half weeks of May. We returned home, picked up our kiddos, and have spent each week of the summer in a different state. It’s been full, adventurous and FUN!
I’m taking a pause this week to catch up in the office. Before I dive deep into late summer and fall wedding work, I want to feature this Northern Virginia summer wedding edit. I have been swooning over the incredible design work by wedding planner and design extraordinaire, Victoria of Grace and Glory Weddings and Events. Everything about these wedding details emulates joyful summer vibes and I want it to live here on my blog before the busy season escapes us!
The Summer Wedding Color Palette of Your Dreams
Before you scroll further, I want to prepare you with how *beautiful* this lively summer color palette is. Everything about this color palette is what summer wedding dreams are made of! I loved the bright warmth of orange mixed with softer peaches, creams, and pinks. The addition of natural greenery and pops of purple made the color palette come alive! Apply these colors to a floral explosion and Summer Lovers are in heaven! This color palette and dynamic floral texture complimented one of Northern Virginia’s most idyllic venues, the Shadow Creek Barn in all of the best ways. I enjoyed photographing and editing this gallery so much and am excited to feature more on the blog today!
