Happy New Year from my family to yours!
I am an action-oriented visionary, who loves setting measurable goals. I am fueled by fresh starts, positive challenges, and utilizing quiettime to get creative. Naturally, I am ready to pop the champagne on a new year of business and life! A few of my personal goals include:
Wake up before my kids. I thoroughly enjoy waking up before the sun, saying morning prayers, and drinking a cup of *hot* coffee before the hustle begins. Is it weird that I feel such mornings actually make me a better wife and mom?
Read more. I want to begin and end my days with a book in hand. This has been more challenging since having two and then three sweet kiddos (a blessing I would never change for the world), so my goal here is small. There are a few books I really want to read, so if I am only able to read a few pages or sections each day, I will be well pleased.
Set aside time to nurture creativity and learning every day. My kids love to learn and create, too. This should not be hard. I’m going to be intentional in making space in our day for this- every day. Even if it is only a little bit of time, a little bit goes a long way.
Be where my feet are. Being present has always been a core value of mine. I have learned that without the *consistent* compartmentalization of time, I cannot “be all there”.
Which leads me to my word of the year: consistency I have to remind myself daily that it’s not about running a race, but simply being consistent.
If you set goals for yourself – send me an email! Let’s hold each other accountable and check in throughout the year!
Wishing you all good strength in the new year! May it be blessed!
