I was so excited when Anthony and Maria mentioned doing their engagement photos down the Cape. I love the Cape culture – residential, quaint beach towns with country stores and full of “townies.” Any chance I get to shoot in New England, I take it!

Maria is a true New Englander, while Anthony, like me, has roots in good ‘ol Northern VA. They came for their engagement session equipped with cheese, crackers, and wine – not for photography props, but for us to snack on and enjoy while we did their photos. I couldn’t decide if this was the Mediterranean blood or the Southern Hospitality coming out in them, or maybe a little of both. It goes to say how much FUN they were to work with! As I’m sure you can tell in the photos, they radiate joy, laughter, and romance. I cannot wait to return to New England for their wedding next summer!
